Bexley Schools’ latest financial forecast that predicts five years of projected revenue, expenditures, and cash on hand, shows a surplus of cash on hand well within the district’s cash-balance policy for the next three years.
Bexley Schools Treasurer and his staff once again earned state awards for their business operations and management of the school district’s finances.
The Bexley Board of Education voted on March 11 to approve the district’s Facilities Phase I recommendation and will take steps this Spring to put a financing request on the November general election ballot. The proposed and estimated funding sources include a 2.0 mills property tax and a 0.5% personal income tax.
