Bexley Schools Treasurer and his staff once again earned state awards for their business operations and management of the school district’s finances.
The Bexley Board of Education voted on March 11 to approve the district’s Facilities Phase I recommendation and will take steps this Spring to put a financing request on the November general election ballot. The proposed and estimated funding sources include a 2.0 mills property tax and a 0.5% personal income tax.

Bexley Schools Treasurer Kyle Smith presented the February 2026 Five-Year Forecast to the Board of Education on Feb. 23, showing little change since the last forecast presented in October 2025.
