Treasurer/CFO
Role of the Treasurer’s Office
The treasurer is the Chief Financial Officer of the District and reports directly to the Board of Education. In addition to having a school treasurer license, the treasurer’s major responsibilities include accurately maintaining all financial records, financial forecasting, and investing district funds. The treasurer also manages budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and benefits.
The financial stability of our school district is vital in providing all of the supports and opportunities to our most precious resource: our students.
As the fiscal leader, the treasurer collaborates with the district leadership team and board members in the decision-making process. In an ever-changing world with endless demands for more, it is a challenging and delicate balance between fiscal stewardship and putting students first.
